A family home.

A river running through the South Downs was the subject for this jewellery box. Made for someone who lives here in West Sussex not far from my workshop, Downland boxes are always special to make because they are local but also because they are invariably about a family home. This one is no different; situated near the sinuous, meandering River Arun picked out with silver leaf gilding, their house is marked with a silver pin.
